Expand your opportunities with the CDCP-to-CNA ladder
The WisCaregiver Careers CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder is a unique training program for Certified Direct Care Professionals (CDCP) to use their CDCP training as partial credit toward becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
Individuals interested in the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder must sign up for a special version of the CDCP training. Sign up for this special training opportunity here.
CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder Benefits:

Individuals in the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder program who successfully earn CDCP certification gain a head start on CNA training.

Certified Direct Care Professionals in the program will receive credit for the first 20 hours of the state-required 75-hour CNA training course.

Those who participate in the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder course are eligible for a 15% reduction in the cost of the CNA training through the Healthcare Workforce Training Institute. Normal class cost is $875, CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder Course participants or their employer pay just $750.
Participation Details:
Individuals interested in the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder training must select this option when registering, before starting their training.
If you do not select the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder training at the time of registration you will not be eligible for the 20 hours of credits and will not be eligible for the Healthcare Workforce Training Institute CNA course.
Individuals interested in the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder in earning both their CDCP and
CNA must sign up for a special version of the CDCP training called the CDCP-to-CNA Career
Ladder Course. Sign up for this special training opportunity here.If you have ALREADY signed up for or taken the standalone CDCP course you are NOT eligible
for the CDCP-to-CNA Career Ladder Course. However, you can still participate in the
WisCaregiver program to access the course by working for an affiliated provider or sign-up for
a CNA course with the Healthcare Workforce Training Institute directly.CNA training is conducted in-person at Healthcare Workforce Training Institute locations in
Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Fennimore, Lodi, Menomonie, Osseo, Rice Lake,
Spooner, St. Croix Falls and Superior.Individuals who complete the CNA training will have the opportunity to pay for and complete
the Wisconsin Certified Nursing Aide test.
All CNA training is administered by the Healthcare Workforce Training Institute, an affiliate of WisCaregiver Careers.
